The School, founded in 1903, stands in 17 acres, is within 800 metres of the sea and just 2 miles from the beautiful New Forest.
There is a happy, caring family atmosphere and the excellent facilities together with the progressive and dedicated teaching provide the children with every possible opportunity.
The school has an excellent record in Scholarships and Common Entrance. Children are prepared for all the major Public Schools, and there have been over 80 Open Scholarships awarded to pupils in the past 10 years, for academic, Music, Art and Sporting achievement. The school is also sympathetic to the slower child, and qualified staff are on hand to help with their learning difficulties.
The facilities are excellent and include a new Music School, new Computer Room and Library, newly refurbished Squash Courts and Outdoor Heated Swimming Pool, Sports Hall, Art and Craft Studio, Science Laboratory, Tennis Courts and excellent level playing fields. The official games played are Hockey, Soccer, Rugby, Cricket, Athletics, Tennis, Netball and Rounders.
The school offers Scholarships each year to children who show Academic, Art, Music or Sporting excellence. These exams take place each year at the beginning of the year. Bursaries are also offered to Forces Families.
Three minibus services operate daily to cover the New Forest, Bournemouth and Ringwood areas.
